Last night we braved the hoards of annoying tween girls to attend the
Glee concert at the Allstate Arena. When we got there, our seats did not exist due to some complications with one of the stages, so we were upgraded to the 10th row! Call me a Glee-tard, but it was one of the best concerts I've attended! The cast members really can sing, which totally refutes John's hypothesis that they are just mediocre singers whose voices have been improved with autotune. They are really great performers - overall the concert exceeded our expectations. Our ears are still ringing from all the screams from the annoying tween girls, though.
We've been lounging for most of today. I went to a delicious brunch spot this morning with my friends -
Kanela. It is definitely a keeper! It's a super hot one here in Chicago, so I'm spending the rest of the day inside.
